Eric S. Jackson, PhD, CCC-SLP
Dr. Eric S. Jackson is more than a speech-language pathologist—he’s someone who truly understands the experience of stuttering. As a scientist, therapist, and person who stutters, Dr. Jackson brings a unique and deeply personal perspective to his work with children and adults who stutter. His own experiences shape his client-centered approach and fuel his passion for helping others navigate their own journeys with confidence, resilience, and authenticity.

Dr. Jackson has more than 15 years of experience working with people who stutter. He is also Associate Professor of Communicative Sciences and Disorders at NYU, where he directs the stuttering and vvariability (savvy) lab. His research, funded by the National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation, is driven by a singular goal: to use rigorous scientific approaches to inform support mechanisms and interventions for people who stutter.
With decades of expertise and a personal connection to the stuttering community, Dr. Jackson understands the challenges and triumphs that come with stuttering. Through Transformative Speech Therapy, he offers individualized care that combines cutting-edge research with heartfelt compassion, empowering clients of all ages to communicate more freely and live more fully.
